The Romanian Youth Union for Conservation of Nature (RYUCN) is a conference made by teenagers for teenagers, aiming to raise awareness and find solutions to environmental problems. It is inspired by the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN) congress, with the team having participated in the latest edition in France. The mission is to motivate a generation that cares about preserving the world and encourages quick action. The first edition included topics such as the World Commission on Protected Areas, Environmental Law, Species Survival and Ecosystem Management.
