What to expect
Romanian Model United Nations (RMUN) is a diplomacy club that introduces students to the workings of the United Nations. As an educational simulation, it gives participants a chance to represent countries or organizations, analyze international relations, collaborate on resolutions and debate global issues. Delegates engage in research, public speaking, debating and writing, with objectives that include building awareness of global issues and encouraging civic participation. Model UN conferences are intended to develop skills in negotiation, speaking and communication. By exploring diplomacy and negotiation, RMUN helps teenagers understand the complexities of our world and prepares them for leadership roles in international affairs.
