Club
A club offering guest speakers and workshops on neuroscience, psychology, careers, substance abuse, learning, stress management, sleep and technology.
The Neuroscience Club invites teenagers to explore neuroscience and mental health through sessions with psychologists, psychiatrists, neurologists, neurosurgeons, dieticians and researchers. Activities include career exploration sessions about roles in neuroscience, psychology, psychiatry, biomedical research and medicine. Workshops cover topics such as substance abuse and its effects on the brain, memory techniques and study habits, stress management, sleep quality and the impact of technology on the brain. The club is a ConnecTeens project and offers a platform for youth interested in neuroscience to learn from professionals and peers.
